Next, the important thing is to choose the best subject -something that will interest and motivate you for at least three years whilst you study it, and possibly beyond if your career focuses around it too.
It's got to be relevent to your interests and career plans if you're going to be investing thousands of pounds and hours into achieving your degree. The best choice of subjects I've found for online degrees in the UK are with ICS Learn.
ICS Learn work with the countries major universities to provide home study degree, with flexible payments and time scales. Here's just some of the courses they offer, as good as any full time residential course:
- BA (Hons) Criminology and Criminal Justice
- BA (Hons) Business Management and Law
- BA (Hons) Psychology Studies and Criminology
- BA (Hons) Psychology Studies
- BA (Hons) Psychology Studies with Counselling Studies
- BA (Hons) Psychology Studies with Education
- BA (Hons) Business Management (Marketing)
- BA (Hons) International Management
- BA Health and Social Care Degree (Hons)
- BA (Hons) Education and Community Development
- BA (Hons) Early Childhood Studies
- BA (Hons) Education with Psychology Studies
- BA (Hons) English Literature
- BA (Hons) History
- BA (Hons) History and English Literature
The cost off these courses is on par with normal university fees, at around £10k. You can pay this in monthly installments and of course continue working whilst studying. There may also be funding if you haven't already got a degree.
